Grilling Tradition: Mastering the Uruguayan Asado

Introduction:

Immerse yourself in the culinary heritage of Uruguay with this traditional Asado recipe. Bursting with the smoky aroma of grilled meats and the vibrant flavors of chimichurri sauce, it's a feast fit for any occasion.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the grill by heating charcoal or wood to medium-high heat.

  2. Season the various cuts of meat generously with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the seasoned meats on the grill and cook to desired doneness, flipping occasionally for even cooking.

  4. While the meats are grilling, prepare the chimichurri sauce by combining chopped parsley, minced garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.

  5. Once the meats are cooked to perfection, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
