Ingredients for 2 Servings:

  • 200g fish fillets (tilapia or sea bass), cut into chunks

  • 150g shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 100g squid rings

  • 100g crab meat (fresh or canned)

  • 1 tomato, diced

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1/2 green bell pepper, diced

  • 1/2 cup fish or seafood broth

  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Seafood:

    • Season fish fillets, shrimp, and squid rings with salt and pepper.

  2. Sauté Aromatics:

    • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

    • Sauté onion and bell peppers until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

    • Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add Tomatoes and Broth:

    • Stir in diced tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.

    • Pour in fish or seafood broth and white wine. Bring to a simmer.

  4. Cook Seafood:

    • Add fish fillets and simmer for 3-4 minutes.

    • Add shrimp, squid rings, and crab meat. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until seafood is cooked through.

  5. Season and Garnish:

    • Season with salt and pepper.

    • Stir in chopped cilantro and remove from heat.

  6. Serve:

    • Divide cazuela de mariscos into serving bowls.

    • Serve hot with rice or crusty bread.
