The Pacific region cuisine is very unique by the countries like Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Samoa, Cook Islands and Tonga. Local spices and herbs are Fijian Dilo (Tamanu), Tongan Taro Root, and Papua New Guinean Wild Ginger. Iconic Dishes are Palusami from Samoa (Taro leaves filled with coconut cream, onions, and fish, wrapped in banana leaves and baked) and Grilled Fish with Laplap from Vanautu.

Popular refreshing drink from the region is Coconut Water from young green coconuts.It is a perfect choice in the tropical heat. Fruits like Papaya and Pineapple are showcase the magic and vibrant flavors of this tropical region.
