Mauby Recipe (1 Liter)
Ingredients

Mauby Bark: 3-4 small pieces or approximately 10-15 grams

Water: 1 liter

Sugar: 1/2 to 3/4 cup (adjust to taste)

Cinnamon Stick: 1 small stick (optional)

Cloves: 3-4 (optional)

Star Anise: 1 piece (optional)
Instructions

Boil the Bark: Add 1 liter of water to a pot. Add the mauby bark, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise if using.

Simmer: Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Strain: Remove from heat and strain the liquid to remove the bark and spices.

Sweeten: While the liquid is still warm, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup of sugar (or to taste). Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Cool & Serve: Let the mauby cool to room temperature, then refrigerate. Serve cold over ice.
