Middle Eastern cuisine are Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Local common spices are sumac, za'atar, and baharat. Traditional main course dishes from the region are Iran's chelow kabab, and Jordan's mansaf.

Famous refreshing drink is Jallab, from Syria (dates, grape molasses, and rose water, served cold and garnished with pine nuts.) Local fruits showcase the beauty of the region, Pomegranates and dates are common fruits in the Middle East.
