Northern European cuisine are Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, and Lithuania.commonly used spices are Dill and Nutmeg. Traditional Main course dishes are Köttbullar (Swedish Meat Balls),Iceland's Þorramatur, (Fermented Shark,Sheep's head,smoked lamb) and Latvias Grey Peas with Bacon.

Aquavit, a popular spirit from this region. Local berries are lingonberries and juniper berries  from the north.
