Instructions:

  1. Soak the dried shrimp in water for 30 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  2. In a large pot, bring the tucupi and water to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Add the soaked dried shrimp, salted beef, and diced manioc to the pot. Cook for 15 minutes.

  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and onions, and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

  5. Finally, add the chopped jambu leaves and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  6. Season with salt to taste, and serve hot.
